Sending an Inquiry

MonteurQuartiere works inquiry-first: you send a non-binding inquiry (unverbindliche Anfrage) to the host, the host replies with a quote, and the stay is only confirmed once both sides agree. There is no online payment on the platform.

What You Need

• A free MonteurQuartiere account — register or log in first
• Your travel dates and the number of guests

Browsing listings works without an account; sending an inquiry requires one so the host knows who is asking and you can track the conversation.

How to Inquire

1. Open the property page and click Anfrage (inquiry)
2. Pick your check-in and check-out dates
3. Enter the number of guests — optionally select a specific unit
4. Add a message for the host (arrival time, crew size, special requirements)
5. For company bookings you can add your company name, invoice address, and vehicle count
6. Send — the inquiry is non-binding and costs nothing

What Happens Next

• Quote — the host replies with a price and terms, or declines with a reason
• Messages — you can clarify details in the built-in message thread at any time
• Accept — if the quote fits, accept it
• Confirm — the host confirms the stay; only then are the dates firmly booked for you

Good to Know

• An inquiry is never a commitment — you can cancel it as long as the stay is not confirmed
• You cannot inquire about your own listing
• Payment is arranged directly with the host — see Costs & Fees
