Checking Availability

Every property page shows an availability calendar for its units, so you can see open dates before sending an inquiry.

How to Read It

  • Available — the night is open and can be requested
  • Booked — a confirmed stay occupies the night
  • Blocked — the host has marked the night as unavailable

Availability is tracked per unit. If a property has several units (e.g. three double rooms), each unit has its own calendar.

Dates in Your Inquiry

When you send an inquiry, you always state your check-in and check-out dates. The host re-checks the calendar when preparing a quote — the calendar is a guide, the confirmed quote is what counts.

Your dates are only firmly reserved once the host confirms the stay. Until then, other inquiries for the same period may exist in parallel.

If Your Dates Are Taken

  • Ask anyway via the inquiry message — hosts often have flexible units or upcoming openings
  • Adjust your dates or look at other units of the same property
  • Save the property to your Merkliste and check back later

Good to Know

  • Listings can define a minimum stay and a maximum advance booking window (by default up to about 12 months ahead)
  • Confirmed bookings block nights automatically — what you see is current
